In response to Oprah's shows on animal abuse and puppy mills, I want to assure any
potential families that are viewing my puppies or looking at my website and considering
purchasing a Maltese or Maltese Mix and Shih Tzu and do not support, buy from or
sell my puppies to any pet store or other puppy mill breeder. The show bothers me the
most because I can't stand that dogs or animals of any kind would be treated the way
they were in the places where the show guests had visited. It's awful! I have rescued
dogs and raise purebreds for the enjoyment of families who are looking for a well-bred,
cared-for dog to add to their family. Dogs have brought my family and I such joy that I
enjoy offering that to others. I use a vet for all my dogs and puppies, including shots,
rabies, dewclaw removal and other health needs, and will willingly give my vet's name
to anyone as a reference. I am in frequent contact with my vet and my dogs are clean,
healthy and well-adjusted. My dogs do not get put in wire bottomed cages, all get to go
potty outside in a secure chain-link fenced area in my yard. They sleep in the house
and spend time in the kitchen and other areas of my house daily. They have their own
dog room and are groomed frequently by myself and never are exposed to sleeping in,
sitting on or walking over their own waste. They have water available always and have
many toys, beds and other fun stuff to make them happy. They are socialized daily by
my family and extended family and visitors who come to see the puppies. I register all
my puppies with AKC and only sell to private individuals after finding out what kind of
environment my puppies will live in. I also offer a guarantee and will take back any
puppy that does not work out for the family that adopts him or her. I take my breeding
seriously, as well as my sisters (who's pages are at the bottom of my main website
page) and want you to know that I fully support humane shelters and urge those who
do not feel led to purchase a purebred to give one of the many homeless animals from
