Hi! If you are thinking about buying a new
companion, that is an important step and
you want to be assured you are buying from
someone you can count on to support you.
Here's some about me, Jeanette, and how I
raise my puppies. I moved to Pennsylvania
from Michigan when I was a teen-ager and
have lived in the Hadley area for decades.

imagine that I might need something to keep me
busy after retiring in my early 50s. So that
something, besides doting on my grandchildren and
spending time with my family, has been raising
puppies and has been one adventure after another! I
researched breeds for many months before taking
the plunge to raise maltese and miniature schnauzer
puppies. I bought Lil, Rose and Mr. Big, my maltese,
and Roxy, Greta and Magic, my miniature
schnauzers, all in 2005. I've had several litters now
and enjoy hearing from my puppy buyers. I have
learned so much but I know there is always more to
learn! No matter how long you raise puppies or how
many litters you plan for, there is always something
new to learn and experience! Just like children,
waiting for the puppies to come is the hardest part! I
help all the mothers and am there as the puppies are
born, weigh them, note their markings and watch
them carefully to make sure they nurse, make sure
Most of my life I have
spent working
construction-type jobs
and raising my children.
My husband passed
away and my kids are
grown so you can
they get proper vet care and shots and find the perfect
homes for each baby. Since my adult son, Michael, lives
with me, he also helps usher the dogs in and out of the
house and get them into their beds at night. I have
renovated a room in our large two-story house just for the
dogs and have baby gates everywhere! This summer, I have
put up several areas of chain link fencing for secure outdoor
exercise and fresh air. The dogs are rarely left alone and
are interacted with every day. In just a couple short years of
raising puppies, they have gone wide and far -New York,
New Jersey, Mississippi, Tennessee, Colorado, Virginia,
Delware, Arizona, Ohio and throughout Pennsylvania. Aside
from raising puppies, I also enjoy making crafts and sewing,
help care for my aging father, who lives with me. Life
revolves around the dogs and I like to think that I provide
quality pets that are great house companions at prices
families can afford. I would be happy and willing to tell you
anything else you might want to know and answer any
questions you may have. I encourage you to do lots of
research before purchasing a puppy from just anywhere.
Make sure you know what the puppy needs and you are
able to provide for it - it's a big time investment at first! Also
make sure you are comfortable with the person you are
buying from and the environment the puppies are raised in
and their early puppy-hood care. Please avoid pet stores -
they overcharge and you never know what you are getting!
